The César Chávez Breakfastwhich attracts approximately 600 attendees is a major event in Glendale and supported strongly by community leaders, businesses, educational institutions and others.

One of the highlights each year is the announcement of the recipient of The César Chávez Diversity Award, presented to an individual or organization in recognition of their outstanding community leadership and diversity.
